Now that you have opened your new checking, savings, or money market account, you're ready to make your opening deposit.
To make your opening deposit online from a non-Wachovia account:
Have the account number and the Routing and Transit (ABA) numbers for the account you are transferring money from (you can find this at the bottom of your check or savings deposit slip).
Select Make Opening Deposit below and log in using the User ID and Password you selected during the application process.
Enter your deposit amount and complete the steps to start the deposit process. See how simple it is.
Within days, your first deposit will be made to your new Wachovia account.
To make your opening deposit from an existing Wachovia account: Log in to Online Banking, select the Transfer Funds tab, and complete a few simple steps.
Or, to make your opening deposit you can:
Set up direct deposit of your paycheck, Social Security check, or other recurring deposit.
Mail your first deposit, along with your new account information, to one of the following addresses:
